I prefere the guitar in the Sephiroth perfect. And I can't decide If I like some of the FX...

Quality could have been better, but this is a beta vers. right. The voices did sound like they were underwarter though! lol.

Theres also a hip-hop-ish bit you added before the vocals, not to be offencive, but I really hate it, kinda spoils the build up.

Can't help you on the technical stuff, so I'll just say I like pudding...
:D

Love the echoey voice effect at the end.

Other than that, still pure Pwnage!

Yeah, the guitar was my bad. For the official (alpha) I'll have my brother record the guitars. I can't believe, though, that you prefer Slayer over a soundfont of a Jackson with Metal Zone.

And I don't think that is hip-hoppish, for I've yet to hear a hip-hop song with triplets. I know of parts where I melded bits from the Birth of a God in for some groove-age, and little more.

The vocals sound underwater because I added 50-detune chorus and subtle reverb. I just like the way it sounds. It gives them my own personal touch. :P

You even had the chokeing! lol! Why didn't you use the origional Poo's voice? Still, the technoy bit was a nice touch. The pitch got a bit high some times.

Not really...The start was for the podcast that i wanted it on...This was just a song that was influenced from love...but it wasn't a love song...Some techno is like this...some isn't... Thanks for the review though man!

Not bad.

The trumpets seem a little weak, try making them louder, or using a different type of trumpet sound. And you can hear the Gu The rest is ace! This still manages to keep its essence of happyness.

Honestly, I was never too happy with this, and I agree on the horns, they sound rather bad.
As for being able to hear the "Gu", I have no idea what you mean... is that good or bad? And what on earth is a Gu? The first thing that came to my mind was a GUI, but you can't really hear a Graphical User Interface, so... and even if you could, I recorded all of the instruments and synthesizers myself, so there is no sound from the game present.

Thanks for the review! I didn't add any notes actually, though some of them are hard to hear on the GBA / DS... try it with headphones, they're there alright. Well except for the solo.
Anyway, looking back, I don't particularly like this track (my version, still love the original). Sub-par sound, crappy solo... I could have spent another few hours on this and made it good. Oh well.

All I can think of is Adders "Snake Bite" and how it made me lose every time...*shudder* Very good mix. An Improved version of the origional, if you will.

Thanks! Adders power isn't that bad, it's probably the weakest in the game... but it sure does power up very quickly! For me, it was Hawke's and Kindle's super powers that caused many a defeat... but now I've played the damn game so much it's become too easy. Release an AWDS2 already!

Thanks for the review! It's so damn time consuming to do just one of these, because I have to tab everything out by ear, program the drums, practice all the various melody lines, and then record it... and then mix and master it... so probably not. My fav themes are probably mostly Black Hole ones and a few Orange Star themes, so it's probably going to be those if / when I do more AWDS...

*sniff* its better than mine...

An awsome mix! The "tribal beat" skips a bit some times though, and the drums some times drown out the...high pitched instrument, its the one that subs the square like sound, if you sorta understand, lol (^_^). Ending screws up a little, but the main song loops enough time to salvadge a decent loop.

That aside though, this is fantastic! <3 the instruments!

Well, the "high pitched" instruments were all the same guitar with different effects on each. When I was listening to it, I thought that I had perfectly distributed the instrument volumes, but apparently I could've done a little better.
